OUR MINISTRIES

 

Armed with the mission of changing lives, transforming the world one person at a time, Miracle Temple Church of Deliverance developed the following ministries to do the work of kingdom building:

Prayer

 

Prayer Counselors pray for our church, our world, and each other.

Women

 

IThe Women’s Ministry provides a Christian fellowship for mature Christian women with emphasis on increasing spiritual growth.  The members of this ministry are a unique blend of women that serve as role models and support systems for younger women within the church.

Sunday school

 

The Sunday School program is a vital part of the ministry at Miracle Temple COD and an essential aspect of spiritual growth.  Classes are held at 9:45 am and are facilitated by spiritual leaders in the church.  Biblically-based topics range from doctrine, church history and Christian living to biblical book studies.  There is even an orientation class which helps familiarize newcomers with Miracle Temple COD and its doctrine.  Our goals for the adult Sunday School classes at Miracle Temple COD can be found in the Book of Ephesians:

Ephesians 3:17-19:  "So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith - that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."
 

Youth

 

Young people are doing more than hip-hop. They are serving the Lord. The Youth Ministry of Miracle Temple COD is designed to provide spiritual training of young people. It is designed to be an outlet and alternative to the things that negatively impact them on a daily basis.

Music

 

To provide Praise and Worship and choir music for all worship services.

 

Community service - CS

 

Our mission is to provide training and services that will be empowering to the local community.  CS assists those in need by:

 

  • Dispensing emergency food

  • Providing employment readiness training

  • Administering short-term case management

  • Providing transportation services
